Long first got Hollywood’s attention as a rising star in the WARNER BROS. distributed feature ATL and the 20th CENTURY/FOX ATOMIC, THE COMEBACKS., Long has appeared in a number of movies including the WARNER BROS. feature, SOULMEN, alongside Samuel Jackson and the late Bernie Mac. He also stars in THE WEINSTEIN COMPANY’S upcoming feature, HURRICANE SEASON alongside Forest Whitaker. Past films include the UNIVERSAL PICTURES distributed, IDLEWILD and the MEDIA 8 ENTERTAINMENT/ABC FAMILY feature LOVE WRECKED with Amanda Bynes.
Zulay Henao as Angie
As the female lead opposite Channing Tatum and Terence Howard in the upcoming Rogue release FIGHTING, Zulay Henao is being touted by industry insiders as one of Hollywood’s brightest new stars. After making a splash as the star of the Jennifer Lopez produced Tri-Star Pictures release, FEEL THE NOISE, Zulay landed coveted roles in S.DARKO (the sequel to DONNY DARKO) and in the upcoming Screen Gems release, BONE DEEP.
Gary Dourdan as Dominick
For 8 seasons Gary Dourdan starred on the CBS hit TV show, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION. He has become a recognizable face world-wide. His extensive film work includes roles opposite Winona Ryder and Sigourney Weaver in Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s ALIEN: RESURECTION and opposite Halle Berry in the James Foley directed, PERFECT STRANGERS. THE MAGNIFICENT COOLY-T marks the second collaboration between Gary and director Stephen Leeds, who teamed up in 1997 for the legendary short film, GET THAT NUMBER.
Rahzel as Jaydee
Rahzel (born Rahzel M. Brown) is a Beat-Boxing icon. He first gained notoriety as a member of the Grammy Award-winning band The Roots. Rahzel is widely considered the most famous beat-boxer in the world. He and his voice have been featured in a broad spectrum of high-pofile projects, including his popular Pepsi Super Bowl commercial seen by hundreds of millions of people, and his well-loved Twix and Verizon commercials. He single-handedly ignited a generation of You-Tube inspired beat-boxers and is credited with expanding the art of beatboxing in a unique way, creating vocal beats while singing lyrics simultaneously, as is best displayed by his famous acapella “If Your Mother Only Knew” (an interpretation of Aaliyah’s song “If Your Girl Only Knew”) which is an interlude on his album Make The Music 2000. Rahzel released his solo album Make The Music 2000 in 1999 on the MCA record label. In 2004, Sureshot Recordings released his album Rahzel’s Greatest Knockouts which features Rahzel collaborating with many other artists including Slick Rick, RZA, and Cee-Lo. Rahzel has toured the world performing alongside popular acts like SNOOP DOG and THE BEASTIE BOYS.
In-Q as Stevie
In-Q has been writing and performing Spoken Word/Hip-Hop for the last 10 years. He has been featured on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, ABC’s Eye on LA, and NBC’s Living Large. He was a principal part of the National Poetry Team who won the Slam Championships in St. Louis and opened for The Red Hot Chili Peppers in Los Angeles. In addition to being a successful poet and rapper, In-Q is tackling Hollywood. He recently starred in the independent feature film “Speechless” in the pilot “Holt and Randy” and the miniseries, “Twenty Six Miles.” In addition to his work on the big and small screen, In-Q is an accomplished stage actor. He is the founder and host of the Actors’ Lounge and was awarded an obsevership at the prestigious Actors’ Studio by Martin Landau.
Sleepy Brown as Old School
Multiple Grammy winning soul icon, Sleepy Brown, of Alanta’s famed Dungeon Family is an R&B singer-songwriter, and record producer. His latest music video “Margarita” featuring Pharrell and Big Boi has been viewed by a million people. He is one-third of the successful Atlanta-based production team of Organized Noize, which has created hits for acts such as OutKast, Goodie Mob, and TLC. TLC’s “Waterfalls”, penned by Brown and Organized Noize’s Rico Wade and Ray Murray, was a #1 hit single on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Jeff Branson as Johnny
Jeff starred opposite Padget Brewster in THE BIG BAD SWIM (2006) which garnered best picture and jury awards at numerous international film festivals. Other film work includes Tom DiCillo’s DELIRIOUS with Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt and Alison Lohman. Jeff is well known to soap opera fans as a regular on ALL MY CHILDREN (2004-2007) and GUIDING LIGHT (2008). Other television work includes LAW & ORDER: SVU and STRANGERS WITH CANDY.
Albert Jones as Sully
Jones received his MFA from the American Conservatory Theater. He can be seen in the feature films American Gangster, The Bourne Ultimatum, Cadillac Records and Proud (Tribeca Film Festival, 2005) as well on Law & Order, SVU, Criminal Intent, Rescue Me, Kidnapped and Love Monkey. His extensive theater credits include: Broadway: Henry IV (Lincoln Center Theater). Off-Broadway: Oroonoko (TFANA, Audelco Nom.),Pericles (TFANA at BAM), Iphigeneia at Aulis, Richard III (Pearl Theater).
Denise Vasi as Morgan
Denise has quickly established herself as one of the entertainment industry’s top women to watch. She has recently been featured in several film projects including the Disney feature film When in Rome – in which she plays opposite Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory) – and the feature independent film The Good Guy (starring Alexis Bledel). In addition to these roles, Denise has an on-going role on ABC’s daytime soap opera, “All My Children.” With an extensive modeling career gracing the pages of domestic and international magazines (including ELLE, Marie Claire, and GQ Italy) Denise is currently the face of Olay’s Spring 2009 on-camera advertising campaign.
Teairra Mari as Sonya
Teairra Marí’s first album, Roc-A-Fella Presents: Teairra Marí, was released on August 2 2005. The album reached the #5 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts while Mari was modeling and doing ads for the Roca Wear campaign. Marí worked with Jay-Z, in his first collaboration project since becoming president of Def Jam Records, to create “Make Her Feel Good” the lead single from her debut album on Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam that reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the R&B charts. It was heavily played on BET. The second single “No Daddy” had a video that led to commercial success on MTV. The video spent sixteen days on Total Request Live, reaching number two She is currently signed to Warner Bros. Records and is working on a new album titled “At That Point” which will be released on April 7th. THE MAGNIFICENT COOLY-T marks her acting debut.

As J.R. Chandler on ALL MY CHILDREN (2003-2009) Jacob is recognized as one of the few iconic faces on daytime television. In THE MAGNIFICENT COOLY-T Jacob plays himself, a well-known soap star. Since 1997 Jacob has been regularly seen in popular roles from THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL to GENERAL HOSPITAL and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
Cipha Sounds as Himself
In 2006, Cipha became the host of MTV’s urban music video program Direct Effect which later became Sucker Free. Before that, he was the senior vice president of Jay-Z’s Roc-La-Familia label. Cipha was featured in the 2002 film 25th Hour, playing “DJ Dusk”. He was also a DJ for Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show. After touring the world as the DJ for Lil’ Kim, Cipha became a mix show DJ on Funkmaster Flex’s evening show on Hot 97, and eventually got his own show called Cipha Saturdays at the same station. On Sirius Satellite Radio’s Shade 45 channel, he hosted a show called The Cipha Sounds Effect. Later, Cipha’s radio show, The Cipha/Rosenberg Experience was part of Hot 97′s new morning lineup that also airs Big Boy’s neighborhood.
Mike Iorio as Frank
After years of national television exposure as “BIG GUIDO” the larger half of the WWE WRESTLING duo nicknamed the “F.B.I.” (Full Blooded Italians), Mike made his big-screen debut with a featured role in Ivan Reitman’s, MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson.
Bernard Pretty Purdie as Bucket Man
Bernard “Pretty” Purdie is a legendary American drummer and session musician who has worked with various well-known soul, rock, pop, and jazz musicians including James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Dizzy Gillespie. He is credited with being one of the inventors of the “Acid Jazz” genre in music and widely believed to be the most recorded drummer in history. Purdie is considered an influential and innovative exponent of funk and is also noted for a “rolling” shuffle beat he calls “the Purdie shuffle”. Two examples of “the Purdie shuffle” can be heard on Steely Dan’s “Home at Last” and “Babylon Sisters.” According to Drummerworld.com, “colleagues describe the drummer’s style as the ‘funkiest soul beat’ in the business.”
Beau Baxter as Van Glory
Beau Baxter’s most recent work includes a leading role in the independant feature “Split Ends”, directed by Dorothy Lyman. The film has already been accepted to several festivals around the country. A partial list of Beau’s T.V. credits include J.A.G., Rodney, The Drew Carey Show, and Seventh Heaven. You can also see Beau in his recurring role as sports analyst Reggie Greengrass on the Onion News Network web site. Beau is active in the theatre as well and recently performed in The Boise Contemporary Theatre’s production of the award winning play God’s Ear.
Berto Colon as El Diablo
Berto was a hit on national television when he won the VH1 reality television program Viva Hollywood! and was crowned “America’s Numero Uno Telenovela Star”. He received a contract with Telemundo, the biggest telenovela production company in the United States. His film work includes the upcoming ROGUE release and Dito Montiel directed, FIGHTING starring Terrence Howard, Channing Tatum and Zulay Henao.
Sebastian Tillinger as Nuggets
Sebastian Tillinger has appeared in numerous television shows, films and commercials. Most recently as a schizophrenic on the Emmy nominated show “Huff” and the feature films “Eagle Eye” “Aviator” “Hart’s War” & “Blow” among others.
Jennifer Siebel-Newsom as Sammy
Jennifer graduated with honors from both Stanford University and Stanford Business School. Upon graduation from business school, she moved to Los Angeles to act and produce. Since then she has performed in numerous studio and independent films (In the Valley of Elah, Rent, Something’s Gotta Give, Zen Noir, April Fool’s Day, Raw Footage, etc.,) and TV shows (Life, Mad Men, NUMB3RS, Strong Medicine, Presidio Med, Days of our Lives, She Spies, etc.,). Several of these films have screened at Cannes and Toronto film festivals, among others, and the majority have been winning awards on the international film festival circuit. She produced and starred in the independent feature The Trouble with Romance, which is now available on Pay Per View, iTunes, and On Demand. Most recently she worked on two small films The Gold Lunch (directed by Joanna Kerns and co-starring Paul Blackthorne), The Butler’s in Love (directed by David Arquette and co-starring Thomas Jane), and Hallmark’s The Nanny Express. She is currently producing the documentary film Women and Power (working title).
Megatron as Thuggy
Megatron is well known around the industry for his optimism, dedication, persistence and hard working drive. Megatron began his career in radio as an intern in promotions at WRKS, 98.7 Kiss FM in New York, and soon thereafter landed himself a spot on the Hot 97 air waves. Always hard at work, Megatron also held down a spot in Boston for 2 years at WBOT Hot 97.7 during weekends. He then moved on and received a full-time position for 2-1/2 years at WPHI 103.9 The Beat Currently Known as 100.3 The Beat in Philadelphia. Megatron has started to pursue his long time passion for acting on the silver screen. He landed a roll in State Property 2 directed by Damon Dash, Blood of a Champion starring Bokeem Woodbine and Deborah Cox, directed by Lawrence Page. Also co-starring in Killa Season, along with Camron, Juelz Santana, and Hell Rell, directed by Camron, and City Jewels directed by Jay Swain. He is also the in house DJ/ Hype Man, And holds down a new segment called “What’s Good” where he is the man on the street every week for BET’s 106 & Park countdown show, He’s also the host of BET’s “On Blast” Internet show. Look for Megatron on TV and at a Theatre near you, but in the meantime check him out on BET Monday through Friday from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
